The Teletype Model 38 terminal was introduced in May, 1972 at a price of $1,193 for the KSR (keyboard send/receive) configuration or $1,430 for the ASR (automatic send/receive) configuration.[1][2] In September, 1972 an APL option was made available.[3]

  • upper/lower case
  • accepts standard 14-7/8" fanfold paper
