The TEC 1445 terminal was introduced in June, 1976 at a price of $1,495.[1]

Features:

  • 15 switch-selectable transmission speeds from 50 to 9600 baud
  • RS-232C interface
  • TTL interface
  • 20mA current loop interface
  • 80x24 characters
  • half or full duplex
  • options:
    • lower case for full 128 ASCII character set
    • 40x24 character display
    • extended keyboard with ANSI 11-key numeric pad
