The HP 2648A is a monochrome graphics terminal introduced in July, 1977 at a price of $5,500, or $7,100 with optional cartridge tape drives.[1]
Features:
- 8080 microprocessor
- graphics and alphanumeric data viewed separately or simultaneously
- 8K RAM alphanumeric memory, expandable to 12K
- 32K RAM graphics memory
- 720x360 graphics resolution
- 80x24 alphanumeric resolution
- 9x15 dot character resolution
- graphics zoom and pan
- optional cartridge tape drives storing 220K per tape
