The Burroughs MT 983 terminal was introduced in October, 1980. The Burroughs MT 993 is identical to the Burroughs MT 983 except it has a 9-inch CRT screen. A 5.25" floppy disk drive (model TP 410 and TP 420) can be connected to the terminal for local storage.
