Ramtek, formed in 1972[1], was a manufacturer of color graphics terminals. In March, 1979, Ramtek purchased the alphanumeric terminal unit from Omron.[2] In June, 1981 the company set it's sights on business graphics after a proposed merger with Loral Corporation fell through.[3]
