The Qume QX15 terminal was introduced sometime prior to December, 1997 at a price of $699.[1] It operates as both a plain ASCII serial terminal and, with custom software running on a separate host machine, as an X terminal. In X terminal mode, the server software runs on a separate machine talks to the terminal using an unknown, presumably proprietary, protocol.

Features:

  • emulates PC Term.
  • 800x600 pixel resolution
  • two RS-232C ports
  • one parallel port
  • mouse port
