The Tektronix 4015 terminal was introduced in 1974 at a price of $8,950.[1] It is a modified 4014 that includes the APL character set.

Tektronix announced Option 40 in June, 1977 at a price of approximately $2,000.[2] Option 40 provided the user with the ability to program alphanumeric and graphics macros via the keyboard for local playback.
