The IBM 3197 Color Display Station was introduced on March 20, 1984. It can display 8 colors and is designed to be attached to a 3274 Control Unit, a 3276 Control Unit Display Station (via the Terminal Adapter), or a 4321, 4331, or 4361 Processor (via the Display/Printer Adapter).[1]
