The DEC LA30 DECwriter terminal was introduced in 1970. It is the first printing terminal provided by DEC.

The LA30A was a receive-only variation introduced in June, 1972 at a price of $2,500. The LA30-E, containing an EIA (RS-232) interface, was introduced in June, 1972 for $3,195.[1]
