The CDC 92451 was introduced in February, 1976 at a price of $2,250.[1] Local storage was available through a cassette interface. An expanded memory option was required for the 24 line display. The display logic for the terminal is housed in a collection of circuit cards plugged into a backplane interior to the main housing to the right of the CRT.
